Word of God

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV

  • The word of God, the Bible, is critical to our faith. It gives us wisdom, guidance, hope, and tells us of God’s great love for humanity.

  • The word of God is a gift of God to humanity. It contains the revelation of Jesus Christ and God’s story of our world, including how and why we were created, and provides us with instructions for holy living.

  • We need to be people who know and understand the word of God and teach our children how to read and enjoy their Bibles.

  • Personal Study and praying the word of God is so powerful.

  • Good Bible interpretation grows and changes over time.

  • Memorise and meditate on scripture.
