• In our modern Western society it has never felt more difficult to raise our children in the ways of the Lord, as the influence of secular society is increasingly contrary to our biblical worldview and beliefs.

• The enemy tries to make strongholds of the mind and heart wounds in our children at a young age.

• Despite the challenges we face raising our children in a modern age, with technology complicating our attempts to protect our children from ungodly influences, we can create Godly environments in our homes.

• Parents are the gatekeepers of their homes.

• Some ways we can create environments for healthy identity development;

  • Healthy relationships with our children so they can discuss their battles with us, so we can talk it out and walk it out with them.

  • Pray, Pray, Pray for your children and home.

  • Create atmospheres saturated with the presence of God with worship, prayer, communion, encouragement, and gratitude.

  • Help your child stay grounded in their identity in Christ and who God says they are in the Bible.
