• Evangelism and Discipleship are both major parts of the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20.

• The Great Commission is important for ALL BELIEVERS and is a command. If Jesus is our King and we love Him, we will obey Him. Jesus calls us to be salt and light Matt. 5:13-16.

• Most people think of evangelism as big crusades in foreign nations, but most evangelism is generally happening “as we go” in life, as “one on one” evangelism.

• How do we help our children share Jesus?? You can’t teach what you don’t live out yourself. YOU need to share the gospel.

• How to share the Gospel:

  • Meet the person WHERE THEY ARE. We must always share our faith from the premise of where the person “is at”. That we are speaking with people at their point of need or the questions they have. NOT TO fill a need in ourselves.

  • Evangelism from a SECURE IDENTITY as a child of God and not an orphan.

  • This is NOT about NUMBER’s, but HEARTS.

  • Where possible, get the person’s phone number and FOLLOW UP with them. Try and connect them to a CHURCH for discipleship.

  • Share the GOSPEL SIMPLY, explain repentance and the need to turn 180 degrees from living for ourselves to making Jesus LORD

  • Explain the CROSS, let the HOLY SPIRIT convict hearts

  • Keep the prayer to receive Jesus BRIEF and SIMPLE

  • Get new believer’s a BIBLE or direct them to a BIBLE APP

  • SEEDS count, the more you share the greater the possibility of HARVEST. People are READY to receive Jesus.

  • POWER in your PERSONAL TESTIMONY.

  • Where possible PRAY for BAPTISM in HOLY SPIRIT, impartation, anointings or however the Lord leads you.
