IN THIS LESSON
Role Models & Friendships
Parents are the primary role models for their children, and we must pursue character development and be purposeful in cutting sin out of our lives.
If you have not been raised in a healthy home or have not been taught healthy parenting behaviours, it is never too late to learn!! Be intentional in seeking out how to learn to be a great role model.
Other relationships that influence our children’s development are siblings, coaches, teachers, pastors, church members, extended family members, and friends. We must be careful to watch over our children’s relationships and guide their choices.
It is important to teach your children the biblical model for marriage and sex. If you don’t teach them about sex, the world will.
Carefully guide your children’s choice of friendships, as the wrong friendships can “railroad” their faith walk with Jesus.
