Meet your instructor

My name is Jessie, and I love Jesus. I have learnt a lot in my journey following Jesus, and I’d love to share some of my stories with you.

  • My triumphs and failures,

  • My personal discipleship journey,

  • What I have learnt, and continue to learn as a Christian Parent,

  • How to navigate the prophetic personally, and raising young prophetic people,

  • Testimonies of an Almighty God,

  • Supernatural manifestations and how to navigate them,

  • Growing in an abandoned relationship with the Holy Spirit,

  • Cultivating a home environment that welcomes the Glory of God.

Let’s journey together….

I can’t say that I have all the answers…discipleship is a life-long process and I know that there is so much more that the Lord has in store…there is so much we cannot know and fathom…

Nevertheless, I’ll intentionally pursue God. To have an intimate relationship with Him is what we were made for.

Nothing is better than living a life in pursuit of knowing Him more.

Let’s go!!

FAQs

  • Discipleship is a process in which believers grow in maturity as they follow Jesus and remain in a relationship with him. Christian parents have the unique responsibility to disciple the children and adolescents within their families and pass on their faith praxis to the next generation and raise their families with a biblical worldview. To be a lifelong disciple requires personal spiritual growth continuously, as well as the discipleship of other believers in a way that is purposeful and designed.

Discipleship is contextual and must be designed for people within the context of the society in which they live; both in the home, the church, and broader community.

Families are diverse and the spiritual needs of every person within a family are unique to their relationship with Jesus, their level of spiritual maturity as well as their chronological age. Effective discipleship is intentional and planned for the context and needs of the disciple.

Jesus calls his followers to himself, to follow him and to disciple others throughout their life reaching the world around them with the gospel of the Kingdom (Matt. 28:16-20, Luke 18:22, Acts 1:8). Christian Parents are given the great responsibility to train up their children in the way they should go and to teach them about God (Deut. 6:7, Prov. 22:6). The Holy Spirit given to believers by Jesus helps through the discipleship process (John 14:16, Rom 8:1-17).

  • If your child is having dreams and visions. If your child can accurately discern motives of the heart in people. If they can see demons and angels. If they hear the voice of God speaking to their spirit man, the “still small voice” of the Holy Spirit (1 Kings 19:12). They might have a prophetic gift.

It’s very difficult to determine this online. If you are a part of a church flowing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, I would suggest asking a mature believer within the congregation, preferably someone else who might be prophetic, about your inclinations.

It is important that you disciple your children in how to use their spiritual gifts and not be overwhelmed by them.
